I went to emerge at 6a.m as I had a fever, rattling in my lungs, soar throat, and hard time breathing. I did not want to go back to work as I do palliative care and did not want to pass on what I had. I was seen by this young doctor who told me that it could be a flu or even bronchitis, he doesn’t know. To just go home and take Tylenol. I replied: “I could have just stayed home then with the end results?” He shrugged his shoulders and walked out. I have heard through several people in my circle that they just send you home without diagnosing the problem. I just thought perhaps it was bad timing or people exaggerated. Its not an exaggeration, they don’t care!! I heard Ingersoll or London was far better. Such a beautiful hospital with poor patient care. Sad!
