I had colon surgery on the 14th April 2009 at Bowmanville by Dr Hamour. Due to lack of care and communication I ended back in Emergency with an abscess, having to have emergency surgery.
I made a complaint by phone on the 4th January 2010, when I had cleared Home Care, and felt fit to do so. I spoke with Denise Pearce of Patient Relations, who followed up with a confirmation letter saying I would receive word within 4-6 weeks. I have tried and tried repeatedly to get an answer. I am told it is in the hands of Dr. Treloar, whom I think is hoping I die, before he has to reply. I sent a letter on the 2nd of July 2010 to Denise Pearce in which said I have had enough, and I am thinking of making all my files etc public, after all we are now 24 weeks, yes 6 months and not a word. I have never been asked for input or anything. Why do you spend all that time and money on lies in your web pages, maybe you think patients are brainless. Maybe I will hear back from you. I don’t think I’ll hold my breath.

Yours truly,
Robert
